The 6th Regional Conference on HIV & AIDS was held on 17th and 18th May 2012 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was organized by Partnerships in Health / Partnerstvo za zdravlje, in collaboration with partners and beneficiaries. It enabled partners from the Western-Balkans region working on the prevention, treatment, care and support to the people living with HIV to meet and share knowledge, experience and ideas.

EPF together with Serbian partner (and APPG Secretariat) Youth of Jazas and the IPU Secretariat participated at Panel Session on Advocacy and shared techniques on successful mobilization of state funds to ensure treatment of HIV. This topic is of crucial importance as donors are phasing out of these middle income countries and state funding for HIV treatment coverage has not been sufficiently ensured. So far Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia have joined EPF from this region.
